Covered by the Warranty
Warranty coverage may include:
- Original defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, unless a shorter coverage period applies
- Internal mechanisms, components, and brackets
- Operating cords, pleated shades without looped tape, 2″ horizontal vinyl blind slats, and vertical blind vanes for a limited period
- Motorization components and accessories for a limited period, excluding batteries
- Draperies, fabric-covered cornices, valances, soft shades, and related accessories for a limited period
- Exterior solar shades, provided they are fully raised during extreme weather and windy conditions
- Repairs made with like or similar replacement parts when covered under warranty

Not Covered by the Warranty
The warranty typically does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by abuse, accidents, alterations, misuse, improper installation, improper cleaning, or lack of maintenance
- Damage caused by failure to follow product instructions
- Discoloration, fading, cracking, shrinking, or stretching caused by long exposure to direct sunlight
- Slight natural color variations in materials such as wood grain, natural fibers, or woven textures
- Warping of wood blinds or shutters due to high humidity
- Damage from shipping, product removal, re-measuring, or re-installation
- Unfinished cornices and valancesPalladian shelves
- Fabric supplied as “Customer’s Own Material”
